Join us for this Late Career Symposium, framed by the work of Professor Roger Baldwin, the Dr. Mildred B. Erickson Distinguished Chair in Higher, Adult and Lifelong Education. Our goal is to collectively identify strategies to support senior and retired academics and administrators and utilize more effectively their experience, skills, and wisdom.
One of three featured presenters at the symposium, Baldwin's most recent research is dedicated to the later stages of the academic career, including pre-retirement and emeritus status. He has surveyed retirement organizations at peer institutions to learn how they are supporting emeritus faculty and administrators and also benefiting the institutions with which they are affiliated.
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Register online or call Jill Bryant at (517) 355-7483.
