  • Description:

The Re-Imagining Teacher Education in Michigan conference will bring together teacher preparation institutions from across the state, representatives of K-12 schools and the Michigan Department of Education to think, talk and plan for the improvement of teacher education. Our programs face tough challenges in the near future, and we believe that working on solutions together will strengthen all teacher education programs and inform the development of teacher education policies in the state.

The ideas generated from this working conference, hosted by Michigan State University, will be documented in a conference proceedings format that will be shared with all participants. Anthony Bryk, head of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, will give a keynote address.
