Those interested in art or aiding in the quest for global change can have an opportunity to pursue both at an Art Exhibit and Auction for Haiti Medical Relief Sunday April 25.
Put on by students in the ISA and KSA as well as the OISS, the event is open to everyone and will offer a silent auction from which all proceeds will go to support an Institute of International Health medical project in Haiti.
While auctioning pieces reflecting Haiti and local Lansing area neighborhoods, live music will accompany the event held in the MSU Union Parlor rooms A, B, and C from 1-5 p.m.
With a presentation from David L. Smith, the president of a charity school in Haiti, the event will be a tool to highlight how much work can still be done in the recovering island nation.
Artists interested in donating works to the auction or those interested in more information can contact Nafissa at email@example.com or visit www.msu.edu/~yakubova.
